Outfit Post / Happy Halloween!

This weekend was the first time all month that I properly felt the temperature drop and daylight getting noticeably shorter (delighted about that extra hour snooze in the morning though!). I spent Sunday afternoon by the sea with a friend, taking photographs and exploring the area. You can't beat comfy clothes on days like these, though I definitely regret not bringing a scarf!

Faux Shearling Jacket

I'm just getting over a cold this week and have been preoccupied with keeping warm and getting better so major apologies for this slightly boring outfit post! Since I'm eagerly excited for cosy layer weather, I decided to wear my shearling jacket out for the first time this autumn. While I do love the one I'm wearing from H&M, I've been absolutely lusting over this incredible jacket from Olive for so long, might just have to treat myself to it this year!

Outfit / October 16th

On one of many late night internet shopping browses, I came across this H&M polo-neck jumper. I was drawn in immediately by the shape and autumnal colour, knowing it would go great with a lot of things I already own. Somewhere between a mix of camel and burnt orange in colour, this jumper is so comfortable and perfect to throw on over pretty much anything for a casual or dressy look! Also considering I pretty much live in my Topshop Jamie jeans, I decided to branch out and buy my first pair of tailored trousers. They're super comfy and add a smart, more sophisticated look to any outfit, whats not to love?!

I love wearing duster coats at this time of year because they're the perfect layer for this chilly but not totally freezing weather. Paired over a jumper this coat keeps me really snug and not feeling weighed down by too many heavy layers!

Striped Shirt

We're definitely moving swiftly past light layer weather and into jackets and scarves (I type this while wrapped up in a very stylish hoodie and dressing gown combo), but I took advantage of one of the last remaining warm days of the year recently and wore this Zara blouse and heeled sandals. I can't believe I'm not wearing any black for once! This bag is one of those magical small-yet-somehow-holds-everything bags which is so handy and a great colour for autumn!
